From Wellies to Wellness: What to Take to a Festival
Festival season is just around the corner, and if you’re anything like us, you’re already counting down the days. The line-ups are dropping, group chats are filling up, and the excitement of long days filled with music and good company is starting to build.
But before the first beat drops, there’s one small but important task to tackle: packing. If you’ve ever packed the night before and ended up with your entire wardrobe scattered across the floor, you’ll know how easy it is to forget the essentials. A little preparation can make all the difference when it comes to staying comfortable, hydrated, and ready for whatever the day brings.
If you’re wondering what to take to a festival, our founder and regular festival-goer, Georgie Robertson, has pulled together a handy guide to help you pack the ultimate festival survival kit.
Fun fact: Each year, there are over 600 festivals in the UK, from iconic events like Glastonbury and Reading to hundreds of smaller boutique festivals across the country.
The Ultimate Festival Packing Guide

Sleep Essentials
- Eye Mask: Fed up with the sun waking you up through your tent? An eye mask is the key to getting Georgie’s must-have six hours of sleep each night during a four-day festival.
- Earplugs: An absolute essential when the music is loud, and your camping neighbours don’t want the night to end. Georgie recommends Loop earplugs for blocking out noise while still staying comfortable.
Health & Hydration Essentials
- Electrolytes: Spending long days in the sun can quickly leave you feeling dehydrated. Electrolytes are a great way to help replenish what your body loses throughout the day. Georgie’s personal favourite is HIRO, as they contain no sugar or sweeteners.
- Breakfast Snacks: Waking up hungry and having to trek across the festival site for food is nobody’s idea of fun. Packing easy breakfast snacks means you can fuel up before heading out for the day.
- Blister Plasters: We’re serious about this one. Georgie clocked up almost three marathons’ worth of walking at Glastonbury last year. Comfortable feet are essential - if you can’t walk, your festival experience is basically over.
Festival Comfort Essentials
- Four Different Types of Wipes: Festival hygiene is a skill in itself. Don’t forget water wipes, antibacterial wipes, make-up remover wipes and feminine wipes. They can even double as emergency loo roll when the portaloos run out.
- Phone Battery Pack: A portable charger is essential for avoiding the expensive charging tents. Georgie recommends bringing a power bank capable of charging your phone at least four times.
- Bum Bag: Forget faffing around with rucksacks or carrying things by hand. A handy bum bag keeps your essentials safe while you dance your way between stages.
- Your Favourite Clothes: Festivals are the perfect place to express yourself. Whether it’s glitter, wellies, vintage finds or full-on fancy dress, wear what makes you feel good and embrace the moment.
Don’t Forget Your Festival Recovery Plan
Late nights, long days, and disrupted sleep can all take their toll during a busy festival weekend. That’s why having a simple festival recovery plan in place can make a big difference to how you feel the next day.
Rebound Recovery is a nutritionist-formulated wellness supplement containing 46 vitamins, minerals, and botanicals designed to support normal bodily functions during busy periods.
The formula includes:
- Choline, which contributes to the maintenance of normal liver function
- Vitamins C, B6, and B12, which contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue
- Magnesium and B vitamins, which contribute to normal psychological function and nervous system support
- Zinc and iron, which contribute to normal cognitive function
- Vitamin C and selenium, which contribute to the normal function of the immune system
- Vitamins C and E, which help protect cells from oxidative stress
Is Rebound Recovery a Hangover Cure?
You may be disappointed to learn that no product can completely prevent or eliminate the effects of excessive alcohol consumption.
However, certain lifestyle habits may help support recovery from a hangover, including:
- Drinking alcohol in moderation
- Staying well hydrated
- Eating before and while drinking
- Getting adequate rest
Festivals are all about enjoying the moment, but taking care of your body along the way can help you make the most of the entire weekend.
If you're planning a summer full of music, dancing and late nights, having your festival essentials ready - including a recovery plan - can make all the difference.
